There is always a way out. You just need to look further. Most people will work for an employer from their teenage years until they retire or die. They will continually be under the direction and control of another person. Many of them will hate their job and yet do it to bring in that golden paycheck. BUT what does that give us in the end.

STABILITY: This is a false sense of stability. Nothing in certain in this life but taxes and death. You could lose your job, even if you are the best. I was laid off from two companies during the 2008 recession, just before both companies went under.

STEADY PAYCHECK: This is true, as long as you keep the job you get a paycheck, but much like stability it may be fleeting. Paychecks are only good if the company providing them makes money and if the company is making money.

MOTIVATION/ACCOUNTABILITY: You have a consistent routine each day and a supervisor that gives you direction and motivation (whether emotionally positive or negative). If you need this, then that is a positive attribute of having a job.

A 9 to 5 job is not a bad thing to have but do we put too many eggs in that basket. If you want the most certainty in your work, work for the government who will spend more than they bring in just to keep their employees employed.

Another way to create stability, a steady paycheck, and motivation is to create a side job. That second paycheck will create your stability if you were to lose that 9 to 5. Two paychecks is more steady than just one. And create a community that you find accountablity. They will keep you going, whether there's one person or a thousand, they'll motivate you.

If this side gig gets to be more lucrative or take up your time and you end up wanting to drop the 9 to 5, you now have the flexibility to do so.

The next step after finding the side gig, is to make it scale and operate without you. The more automatic the product sells itself, the less time you will ned to put into the product, more time you can spend with your family or on the next business. Think of having multiple streams of income and 3, 4, or even 5 paychecks coming in each month. This means the less dependence you will have on your 9 to 5, yet if you still love your job, how much will you be able to enjoy it, if you don't feel like you have to be there worrying about a paycheck. It can be fun once again.

In this blog we will show you all you need to know to get that side gig going, growing, and becoming automatic.

ACTION ITEMS:

1) Find something you are good at and enjoy. A hobby is great but don't lose the joy of it by having to do it every day. Find out how you can monetize the process.

Ex: I like reading stories to my daughter, so I read books on YouTube every night and I run comercials on those videos. Thanks to those videos I am now bringing in residual income from just a few videos that run automatically 1,000 times a day by kids and parents who want me to read to them. That paycheck is a guarentee now as long as YouTube still allows me to run ads on my videos.
