7 Minutes Workout (iApps Technology)
REVIEW:
The 7 Minutes Workout app has many positives and a few negatives:
POSITIVES:
1) #1 best thing about this app is that, unlike other apps, there are no ads to interrupt or annoy.
2) It gives a variety of exercises depending on which style of exercises you want to use. Sadly, those exercises offered don't offer the right exercises.
EX: Today's video shows the Core exercise but there were very few exercises in the workout that offered core muscle focus.
3) The app will allow you to play music in the background so you don't only have to listen to the annoying computerized voice.
4) There is a countdown at the end of each exercise but not at the halfway mark to warn you to switch sides.
NEGATIVES:
1) The computerized voice is very annoying, slow and monotone. I wanted to turn it off after the second exercise. Invest in a better-computerized voice.
2) There are no images of what exercises you are doing or even explanations on the exercise they want you to accomplish.
3) There are no audible markers to make you aware of the halfway mark yet there is a countdown at the end.
4) The graphics on the app were very poor.
TAKE AWAY:
Overall, even though this app is free, there are better choices. There are also worse ones so if you are okay with slow computerized voices and no assistance with each exercise, this app may be for you.
